    Craig’s personality, his skill in leading adventure tourism facets and his love for the outdoors has placed him in high regard not only with Multi-Day Adventures, but with customers lucky enough to have had him. His excellent guitar playing and lyrical voice are an additional treat on our overnight journeys. Craig is now a fire fighter with the NZ fire service but still continues to join in on the occasional adventure with us.

    Wade Garmson

    Yet another quality raft guide who is well respected all over the world, Wade is another multi-talented athlete excelling in all facets of river running and also waka ama, mountain biking and a former golden gloves champion in boxing makes Wade yet another invaluable asset to Multi-Day Adventures. More recently he has been working as the skipper on local charter yachts and ferries. With such a wealth of river knowledge Wade aspires to give back to the wonderful river community by passing that knowledge on and tutoring in advanced river and raft techniques.

    Nadia Gower

    Nadia is an inspiration in that she is a strong woman who can show the guys how it’s done both on and off the water. Spending a number of years honing her Whitewater rafting skills, her status as a Grade 4/5 Senior raft guide is well earned and while she can play the tough lady lady that seems physically unstoppable, she also has the gentle and understanding personality that clients grow to appreciate and love making Nadia yet another valuable guide on Multi-Day Adventure’s Trips.

    Working abroad for the last 5 years, rafting on every continent in the world Nick has brought with him a wealth of knowledge as he comes back to his homeland in the Bay of Plenty of New Zealand. Nick has also been involved with the New Zealand Kayak team for a number of years, excelling in his chosen sport to represent at numerous world championships. He is a true white-water guiding professional and is sure to lift the standard on which ever river he finds himself working on.

    As a “Rock Superstar” guide they don’t come much better than Annika. It’s not just the fact that she won the 2008 New Zealand Single Speed Mountain Biking Championships, or the fact that she got second at the World Championships, it is also because she has such a lovely aura about her as well as an easing going personality. Don’t let that kind exterior fool you though, get Annika on the race track and she turns into a super competitive mean machine ready to take over the world…

    Tony Brindle

    In a climbing career spanning some 30 years Tony has touched on and excelled at almost every facet of this exciting sport. He has climbed throughout Britain, across Europe, Kenya, USA and Alaska and has been a member of several expeditions to the Himalaya including the Karakorum, Nepal and Tibet. Notable mountaineering highlights include climbing over 8,050m, without oxygen, as part of an expedition to the unclimbed (North East) ridge on Everest and the 2nd ascent of Mustagh Tower (7,230m).

    Having begun in the Tourism Industry almost 30 years ago with the start of his well-known kayaking school, Bruce is a fantastic guide exuding enthusiasm every step of the way. His current focus is the Adventure Tourism program at Waiariki Institute of Technology, where Bruce serves as Key Tutor.

    Originally from Australia, Mitch is one of the first women to begin white-water rafting in New Zealand and Australia. She has spent years travelling the world and rafting in Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the U.S., before settling in Queenstown to instruct the Adventure Tourism program at Otago Polytechnic for the following 8 years.
