
Born in Yosemite National Park, Kim has always shown a love for the outdoors. She has had an extensive career in Whitewater Photography and Business Management and has travelled the United States, Costa Rica, Australia, the Cook Islands and parts of Asia. Kim has moved to NZ nearly 20 years ago, to be with her husband Nick, and enjoys being a mum to their two daughters Tenaya and Ani while focusing on her paddling and racing with Hei Matau Outrigging Club. Kim has just returned from the World Sprint Champs in Noumea with a Silver Medal, and is looking forward to a good rest before paddling many more races with the Manawa Kaha Wahine. She is currently managing the marketing, communications and background operations of Multi-Day Adventures.
