Ra Bhana

Ra began working with schools and corporate groups on guided mountain bike tours and theory at an early age, through a 6th and 7th form PE program with a local mountain bike company. His charismatic personality and diligent work ethics have taken him far, making him a well-loved, much sought-after character throughout the Tourism industry. Ra’s many skills include Whitewater rafting, advanced MSC abseiling, Pre-Hospital Emergency care and mountain biking, among many others. His past endeavours include teaching at Waiariki Institute of Technology in both the Tourist Guiding and Adventure Tourism facets, working as a docent at the Award-Winning Rotorua Museum explaining Maori history and tikanga, Mountain bike mechanics, and Youth Health Coordinator at Sport Bay of Plenty. Ra has two awesome children, Anahera and Amaru, and is an integral part of our Adventure Tour operations, as well as running his own business Adventure & Events, focusing on event safety.
