Rock & River Kayaking & Climbing Adventure

Discover two amazing regions and two exciting sports in one week of fantastic educational adventure! Divide into groups to learn basic kayaking,
paddle technique and new skills such as rolling and ferrying. On alternate days explore the growing sport of Rock Climbing encompassing safe climbing practice, belaying and abseiling instruction. This excellent itinerary takes students through the beautiful Waikato region with farmlands and rolling green hills, and our famed Volcanic Plateau boasting geothermal sights, thermal pools and remarkable rock forms. A fun day in Rotorua completes this perfect experience.

Waikaremoana Kayak Adventure

7 Days

Aotearoa is a place of culture and heritage, with beauty and tranquility as far as the eye can see. This incredible itinerary focuses on one of our most stunning regions, encompassing remote wilderness, excellent hut and camping facilities and an area laden with Maori lore. Intertwining with one of our Great Walks, students learn navigation, bush survival skills and sea kayaking technique in this beautiful venue, combined with fun adventure in Rotorua and the Bay of Plenty areas.

Mohaka River Expedition

Providing a unique opportunity to explore another of our scenic resources, students are involved in planning and preparations as we undertake a multi-day river journey along the beautiful grade 2/3 Mohaka River. Students are given opportunity to learn raft guiding skills, water safety and ropes, while assisting their guides in cooking, camp set-up and on-river fun!

Coast to Caves

Experience the wonders of West coast life as well as the magnificent beauty of our underground limestone caves in a remarkable journey including coastal kayaking, surfing, horse trekking, Black water Rafting at Waitomo Caves, Glow worms and more. An excellent tour for all adventure levels focused on one of our most precious natural wonders.

SOUTH ISLAND

Whales & Trails

Discover one of New Zealand’s beautiful marine environments including Abel Tasman National Park, spectacular native forests, and Kaikoura, an area famed for dynamic whale-watching and stunning landscapes. We begin our adventure in sea kayaks, exploring golden sand beaches and picturesque waterfalls in Abel Tasman’s pristine sanctuary. Enjoying the artisan township of Nelson, we continue our adventure on the Buller River, opting for exciting Grade 4 rapids or a scenic float trip through beautiful bush. We then travel along the wild East Coast before arriving at Kaikoura and our chance to view whales and dolphins in the Pacific Ocean. This is a special trip that vividly displays NZ’s stunning maritime and offers experiences unique to this part of the world.

Southern Encounter

A wonderful opportunity to experience the South Island, and its vibrant natural beauty. This itinerary includes scenic kayaking, Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers, adventurous Queenstown and the beautiful Remarkable mountains with thrilling jetboat rides, Rafting or Horse trekking options, and the remote Fiordlands and Doubtful Sound.
